The 2025 MIDI Innovation Awards

What are the midi innovation awards?
The MIDI Innovation Awards, established in 2021, celebrate groundbreaking advancements in MIDI technology.
Organized collaboratively by The MIDI Association, NAMM, and Music Hackspace, the awards highlight innovative products and projects that utilize MIDI 1.0 and 2.0 in novel ways, emphasizing MIDI’s role in fostering musical creativity.
This year we had a record number of entries. The 118 entries are presented here.
Voting In The 2025 MIDI Innovation Awards
Between July 14 and August 4, you can vote on who the 3 finalists in each of the six MIDI Innovation Awards categories will be.
We encourage people to review the entries on MIDI.org and then go to the Broadjam voting site.
In the public voting, everyone must select three entrants in a category.
Once you have submitted your vote, you cannot change it and you can only vote once.
Broadjam has a lot of experience in handling voting and have protocols in place to eliminate voting by bots or voting from multiple email addresses.
You can vote in one category or as many as you like. People are encouraged to vote in all the categories.
You can submit your vote in one category and return to the same voting link later and add your votes in other categories.
After the public vote selects the 3 finalists in each category, a panel of judges will rank the finalists to determine the winner, second place and third place entrants in each of the 6 categories.
