Elevator Pitch

UniMIDI Hub

Product Description

UniMIDI Hub

UniMIDI Hub is a cutting-edge software application designed to make musical performance accessible to people with diverse abilities.

Developed by Audio Modeling in collaboration with Manuele Maestri from Musica Senza Confini, UniMIDI Hub is compatible with both macOS and Windows.

This innovative MIDI controller offers an intuitive interface featuring customizable colored pads — from 2 to 12 buttons per screen — and 8 auxiliary pads that receive events in background. The pads can be triggered using various input devices, including eye-trackers, touchscreens, character-based devices, and MIDI devices, providing a versatile solution for musical performance.

Each pad can be configured to send notes, chords, sequences, and control commands to a MIDI output port or to the built-in sample player, upon pad activation. The output port must be connected to a sound generator — either software or hardware — so that the MIDI events triggered by the pad result in the desired sound output.

Starting from May 2025, UniMIDI Hub can be purchased contacting Audio Modeling at info@audiomodeling.com . Launch price is 300 EUR/USD.

How It’s Innovative

From a perspective in which innovation is an aspect of greater inclusion, UniMIDI Hub empowers users to express their creativity through triggering samples, controlling virtual instruments, or manipulating effects, by the daily life tools that every user already uses to play or interact with digital instruments, like micro-switches, eye-tracking systems, touch devices, chin joysticks, and similar.

See MIDI Innovation In Action

Most Inspiring Use Cases

It enables the use of the controller as an actual musical instrument to perform real music together with others, regardless of their abilities or disabilities.

Expansion Plans

Our expansion plans include integrating additional adaptive technologies such as MIDI 2.0. motion sensors, voice control, a timeline with audio cues and a plugin version, broadening the software’s accessibility. We also plan to develop an online community and support forum where users can share their experiences and provide feedback. Additionally, we will explore collaborations with hardware manufacturers to create dedicated controllers optimized for use with UniMIDI Hub, further enhancing the user experience and expanding our market reach.

Commercialization

Starting in May 2025, UniMIDI Hub is available at a launch price of 300 EUR/USD by contacting Audio Modeling at info@audiomodeling.com.
Beginning in September 2025, UniMIDI Hub will be available for purchase by the general public via the official website, audiomodeling.com, as well as through Audio Modeling’s existing network of resellers and distributors.
In addition, we want to develop partnerships with educational institutions, therapy centers, and accessibility organizations to refine and expand the software’s capabilities. We aim to secure funding to enhance the user interface, add more input device support, plug&play control with most DAWs, and develop a robust marketing strategy.
