AI Music Generation Model Explorer

Elevator Pitch

AI Music Generation Model Explorer

Product Description

AI Music Generation Model Explorer

It can be hard to find the right AI model suitable for different musical tasks and features. To tackle this problem we developed an open repository of generative AI models for music. This repository supports open and editable lists of AI models, their training datasets, possibility of fine-tuning and control, licensing, and input and output types. The collection can be filtered by these properties, helping identify models which could be trained from scratch or fine-tuned on small datasets. It aims to promote low-resource AI models and link to open-access, non-profit archival repositories and AI models which are mostly excluded from other listings.

How It’s Innovative

It aims to promote low-resource AI models and link to open-access, non-profit archival repositories and AI models which are mostly excluded from other listings. The filtering options and features of AI models captured in the repository are focussed on features of AI models that support innovation in music making and challenge existing dominant deep-learning models. This repository supports open and editable lists of AI models, their training datasets, possibility of fine-tuning and control, licensing, and input and output types. The collection can be filtered by these properties, helping identify models which could be trained from scratch or fine-tuned on small datasets.

Most Inspiring Use Cases

To find and showcase generative AI models for music which are mostly excluded from other listings. Especially low-resource AI models which help to address the problems of genre bias in large generative AI models that currently dominate the market.

Expansion Plans

We would like the collection to keep growing and stay up to date. As the generative AI ecosystem develops very rapidly, we invite everyone to help us build and maintain the repository by adding to it and suggesting changes. New entries can be added directly at the repository website.

Commercialization

We plan to keep the repository free to use and open.
