The DogBite MIDI Controller

The DogBite MIDI Controller wishes to become the Shure Beta 58 of the MIDI controllers.

A relatively inexpensive, super basic device, provided with a very fast and intuitive user interface, packed in a product that’s so small that it can really fit in any purse or bag.

We try to stay affordable and keep the device as portable as possible, so any music beginner can have our controller in their bag or bedroom.

In the meantime, our patented interface offers next level of real-time expression, recognized by many professional artists.

Since our product is launched already, we submitted our application to the MIDI Innovation Awards in the Commercial Products section. Our video is filmed with a prototype though.

We kindly ask you to let us replace our application video with a newly filmed one, by the end of summer 2025 (i.e. when the final product will be available on the market).

The feature never seen before is the back-to-back key interface, for super fast and rhythmic button actuation.

Either using samples, synths, percussion notes or other virtual instruments, musicians can now achieve unparalleled speed of playing triplets, 1/16s or even 1/32 notes that made the DogBite famous.

As with any other notable innovation, users will surely take our product beyond what we’ve imagined in the beginning. For us, the inspiration point was the idea of creating rhythmic patterns, pre-choruses and solos using software like the Simpler instrument from Ableton, but available MIDI controllers wouldn’t allow this level of real-time speed and control.
