Elevator Pitch

SL88 GT mk2

Product Description

SL88 GT mk2

The SL88 GT mk2 is Studiologic’s flagship stage controller, combining authentic graded hammer action, robust metal construction, customizable zones, and full MIDI 2.0 support. Designed for demanding live and studio environments.

How It’s Innovative

The SL88 GT mk2 redefines professional MIDI control by integrating MIDI 2.0 capabilities into a premium graded hammer action keybed. It delivers expanded resolution, smarter device communication, and polyphonic expression—while maintaining the tactile response that made the original SL88 GT a reference for pianists and composers.
When connected to our Numa Player software instrument, it offers an unprecedented level of hardware-software integration: not only are parameters auto-mapped, but the SL’s display dynamically adapts to reflect the software interface, allowing seamless on-board control and personalized screen layouts.

Most Inspiring Use Cases

Used on tour by world-class pianists and film composers, the SL88 GT mk2 enables expressive performances and dynamic control of complex multi-layered virtual instruments through MIDI 2.0 and custom setups.

Expansion Plans

The mk2 platform is the foundation for an upcoming family of MIDI 2.0-ready controllers, including 88- and 73-key versions. A 61-key model with polyphonic aftertouch, and a high-end programmable surface designed for orchestral scoring and complex live setups will be released soon. The deep integration with software will be extended beyond our own instruments: third-party VST developers are already able to design custom user experiences directly on the SL mk2 display, unlocking a new level of visual and functional interaction between hardware and virtual instruments.

Commercialization

The SL88 GT mk2 is already available through Studiologic’s international distribution network, including major retail chains and online platforms, with active marketing campaigns targeting performers and composers.
