Drumcheck

Open a MIDI drum part in DRUMCHECK, or draw one. It assigns every note to a hand or foot and marks conflicts in red, such as three hand-played notes at once or a move across the kit with too little time. Edit the notes, see the result immediately, and export MIDI.

DRUMCHECK is a working prototype for desktop browsers. It models a right-handed drummer on a defined kit with a single kick pedal.

A DAW plays whatever you program, but that does not mean a drummer can perform it. DRUMCHECK analyzes the part and assigns the notes to two hands and two feet. An animated overhead drummer shows the result, and conflicts are marked so the part can be revised immediately.
