Arcana Strum

The Arcana Strum is an adaptable MIDI instrument that incorporates solutions which enable individuals with very limited movement abilities, or neurodiverse individuals to learn and play music. The instrument “behaves” like a guitar, one hand does the strumming and the other selects chords. You can also play melodies, solos and riffs. Can be played as a beginner, with chords or fixed scales, or as a professional with as a chromatic 2.5 octave instrument. There are available sensors and switches that enable playing of the instrument with feet, head and more.

The Arcana Strum is the first off-the-shelf music instrument design from the ground-up to cater the needs of a wide variety of disabled individuals. Based on guitar principles, you can learn and play music just as you would with a guitar.

The Arcana Strum is used daily in special-needs schools, day-care centers and rehabilitation centers by individuals ages 5-95.
