Rhodes Mk8 Midi

A custom Midi solution was created for the Rhodes Mk8 analogue tine piano with Rhodes, Dave Starkey and Cyril Lance which includes a software application. One of the key features is the polyphonic aftertouch and the custom system that is fitted to each piano. It has been very successful as product option with over 80% of new orders opting to add the system to their orders.

The Rhodes Mk8 Midi system innovates not only by its custom design that fits perfectly into the Rhodes Mk8 piano, but also adds Polyphonic aftertouch to give new levels of expression to allow compatibility with the most forward thinking vsts and digital instruments, while the performer enjoys the unique feel and action of a real Rhodes piano. Previous midi systems for analogue tine pianos have never had such features or performed as brilliantly as this.
