The MIDI Innovation awards give a platform for MIDI innovation and rewards products, prototypes, installations or concepts that are thought-provoking and inspire new, creative use cases.
On Saturday, May 28, Host LJ Rich was joined by an international panel of judges and the finalists from the 2022 MIDI Innovations Awards to explore the latest in MIDI Innovation at the MIDI Innovation 2022 Awards Show.
World-renowned musician and BBC TV broadcaster LJ Rich presents on the International Technology show BBC Click, read Music at Oxford and is a NASA Datanaut, so she’s met astronauts, tech visionaries and artists from Stevie Wonder to Steve Wozniak. LJ’s also performed musically at The United Nations in Geneva, Harvard University in Boston, at TEDxTokyo numerous live and virtual engagements. Her past work at QVC and other shopping channels gives her a unique insight into the future of consumers behaviour. LJ’s been interviewed by the New York Times and other international publications about her synesthesia, a neurological condition which mixes her senses together and inspires many compositions and installations.
