Hi Everyone

I'm new to midi and am struggling to understand it. My main reason for starting to use it is I thought I could with an MC6 Pro push a button and my looper go to the next loop memory while at the same time my quad cortex change to the appropriate preset for said loop(song backing track) and the other buttons be used to turn on or off the QC effects as needed at certain parts of a song. That was my aim though it seems as though I will need to get university level qualifications to be able to program this level of ease into the MC6 Pro.  I cant even find reference of a Boss RC-500 in the midi library... My OD-200 is there but that will be for when i can nail this first part then I can tackle the send/return loop of my QC.  Also plan on making a multiple footswitch controller for my MC6 Pro (which will be way easier than I am finding this initial hurdle.

Would anyone have any suggestions?
