I am new to this midi stuff, I have a Modal Cobalt 8M and i have an Arturia Keylab 49 midi keyboard. I plug in a Midi cable from the keyboard out
To the Cobalt 8 Midi in. No mater what i do i cannot trigger the Cobalt 8.
Hopefully i am doing something wrong.
Please can anyone help.

I'm not familiar with your equipment, but it is possible that the Modal Cobalt 8M is set to not respond to MIDI messages coming in the MIDI IN port.
Check the user guide to see if there is a setting relating to the MIDI IN port.

Make sure both your Keylab 49 and Cobalt 8M are set to the same MIDI channel and that the Cobalt is configured to receive MIDI signals. If it’s still not working, double-check the connections and settings. When I hit a wall with tech issues, I find it helps to take a moment and read Surah Yaseen to clear my mind and refocus.
