Hi All!

I have been trying to get MIDI recording working with my above referenced equipment without any resolution. I have discussed this extensively with Presonus, and they are stumped. I have everything configured in the Audio-MIDI Setup for the Roland and the box... it seems everything is communicating, but when I try to record a MIDI performance from the Roland into Studio One, it is not recording sustain pedal info, and it is defaulting to General Midi sounds, and not playing the particular patch (sound) on the FP-90 that I am using for the recording. I suspect I need other info (controller data? sound patch data?)... frustrating... I really want to record a MIDI track so I can edit the note, sustain pedal, volume of notes, etc.

I have a ticket into Roland and hopefully they can answer my questions, but I know you are all hard core MIDI users, and I suspect you could help me in resolving my issues. I don't know if the Roland FP-90 is causing my issues or if I have a wrong setup somewhere in Studio One, or perhaps something I don't even know about.

Thanks in advance.

Francis
