The download link for "5 PIN DIN ELECTRICAL SPECS" on https://midi.org/midi-transports/ doesn't contain the electrical specs, but a "summary of MIDI messages" document.

On https://midi.org/5-pin-din-electrical-specs/ there are 2 more Download buttons, both linking to the wrong document.

That page also contains an image "Screen Shot 2020 07 18 at 12.20.08 PM" which is non-existing on the server.

We believe that this is the document you were looking for.  After you confirm, we'll replace the incorrect file with this.

Here's another page I noticed that was missing: The pages that listed all the Manufacturer IDs. They used to be at the following addresses, but now these addresses return page not found errors:

https://midi.org/SysExIDtable
https://www.midi.org/specifications-old/item/manufacturer-id-numbers

Note the first address is linked on the the specs page for MIDI Reference Tables where it says "To see a complete listing of all Manufacturer's SysEx IDs, please go here." If the list of Manufacturer IDs is posted to a new address, be sure to update that link.

yes, that's the electrical spec I was expecting to find. With regards to the missing image, I believe it was the simplified electronics schema which you can now find on several websites, like

http://midi.teragonaudio.com/tech/midispec/hardware.htm

Following link is the only one I found mentioning the MIDI association copyright :

( used at https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/midi-tutorial/hardware--electronic-implementation )

Thanks Athan.

I also came here looking for the list of manufacturer's SysEx IDs, but the page is currently unavailable.

It would be great if someone could put the page https://midi.org/SysExIDtable up again.

On this page: https://midi.org/midi-1-0

The link to the "MIDI 1.0 CORE SPECIFICATIONS" are incorrect.  They link to a summary of CC messages, not the complete MIDI 1.0 spec.

Links to MIDI 1.0 CORE SPECIFICATIONS are still incorrect, they link to a details page and gdrive hosted document for CC messages.

If you manually browse to https://midi.org/midi-1-0-core-specifications, then open the details page for MIDI 1.0 DETAILED SPECIFICATION, the download link is mapped to a gdrive hosted document about polyphonic expression.

Hello, I am also here to report that the link for the (CA-033) MIDI 1.0 Electrical Specification Update [2014] directs to the Midi Messages document instead.

Hello, the "Introduction to MIDI" document is broken as well. This: https://midi.org/images/easyblog_articles/43/intromidi.pdf

I hope this can be fixed as I use this document in my teachings. Thank you.

Until the link is fixed, you can use the Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20220120194600/https://midi.org/images/easyblog_articles/43/intromidi.pdf
