Hi all,

So I'm here with a piano and a midi setup that works perfectly fine in garage band, but at the same time refuses to play through any websites in google chrome. It was working a couple of months ago, and I've been to the browser settings, where midi is enabled. I've even tried safari. So far, nothing.

I'd appreciate any help, suggestions, mysterious settings or drivers or updates that I should know about?

Thanks,
Maggie

I'm confused. Are you trying to get MIDI files from a web site to play through your system? Or are you trying to send MIDI messages to a web site?

I never thought of or expected MIDI to work with a web browser, but I guess it's possible.

Hi Bob,
This is the website that I'm trying to use: http://notationtraining.com/bass-clef-practice
All it is supposed to do is to register notes I play on my piano, which is connected to the computer through a MIDI connection.

Bob, Google Chrome leverages Web MIDI to allow MIDI interaction on Web sites.

Cheers
