Does anybody know the MIME type for the MIDI 2.0 Clip?
To my surprise, could not find it in the specs. Was I searching in a wrong place?

Nothing about MIDI 2.0 appears yet in https://pagure.io/mailcap/blob/master/f/mime.types, which is the package that Linux uses, but I suppose it will be something like audio/midi2 😀

YEs the mime type for this is currently being registered. It is taking a little while, but it is in progress 🙂

MIDI 2.0 also offers higher resolution and precision for controls like pitch bend, aftertouch and other MIDI CC data. The 2.0 update significantly increases the resolution of the original MIDI spec's messages from 7 bits to 32 bits, allowing for 4.29 billion possible values(!!) removed link

Absolutely, the mime type registration process is underway as we speak. It's undergoing the necessary steps, though it might take a bit of time. Rest assured, progress is being made on this front.
