I read the new MIDI Clip Files specification, and I noticed it uses the file extension ".midi2".
So what is the file extension of MIDI Container File?

The SMF2 MIDI Container file format and file extension has not been fully defined yet. The working group has some foundational architecture established, but many details of the format are still in development. We invite developers who have interest to join the MIDI Association and participate in the working group.
