Just started using midiyodi, I just want a simple program where I can edit midifiles. Cut and copy bars is the one thing I can't seem to find.
I used Notator for 30 years and basically just want to be able to do basic functions with minimal fuss.
Thanks to anybody who can help.
I don't have experience with MidiYodi, but from the screenshots and descriptions is looks like you might be able to cut/copy/paste entire measures of MIDI data.
If not, you should certainly be able to do that in a DAW or notation program, depending on whether you prefer working with a piano roll editor or notation/score editor. A lot of DAWs include a notation view, but a program that's specifically dedicated to notation will be more sophisticated and have more options than the simpler notation editor that's included in a DAW.
