Hello everyone,

I'm trying to understand if is possible to make a midi communication between two different computer in two different location.

The aim would be to play notes on a daw and trough internet play a synth connected to an other daw in an other place.

I know that there would be latency, but I'm not interested in it at the moment.

I have also try to check on the web and seems I can do it trough RTP-MIDI but I didn't find how (explained only for local networks).

I hope you can help me!!!

Thanks.

RTP-MIDI can be sent over the internet, yes. just need to specify the IP address of the computers involved, and make sure your router is configured to allow the data thru and down to your computer.

See towards the bottom of
