I have been using Cakewalk/Sonar to make music and I write most parts on staff to control the midi software instruments, but now I am getting into controllers. I am using the Korg Triton Taktile to be able to play the parts instead of having to write them out and am trying to learn how to control the DAW and soft synths with it. I kinda get some of it, but don't really understand it... CC messages, etc. I am usually following what someone else says and trying to figure it out from there. Would like to understand CC messages, etc. to be able to use it in the studio and live without having to spend too much time figuring it out, as it disrupts the creativity or stalls the show. Thanx for your time and effort in helping me in this matter.
