The SNES MIDI Remaster Project has been updated with my next release, bringing the total number of remasters currently up to 12.
Gradius III
As one of the earliest games released for the SNES, I thought this soundtrack would be a piece of cake to do. As is tradition, curveballs aplenty.
I just added a duplicate command remover to MIDI-MIS, so these are now the cleanest MIDI files I've made for the project. Any same-delta-time/same track identical commands are culled from the file, leaving only the last of each kind per timestamp. Tons of other novel techniques had to be used to compensate for the wacky structure of the original music.
