The SNES MIDI Remaster Project has been updated with my next release,
Super Valis IV
The composer made some interesting choices with refining the sound, as there are strings of notes in the original that play back at zero volume rather than being removed from the game. I had to double-check multiple songs to make sure the volume wasn't broken (though in one case it actually was). I was able to automate "unifying" multi-pitch percussion instruments in my MIDI editor MIDI-MIS, which drastically speeds up creating the percussion parts vs. the painfully slow "manual calculation/search/replace" that I used for my Axelay re-release. As a result, overall time to complete future soundtracks should be more on par with when I first started the project.
