How do you get to your own content quickly here? Doesn't work by clicking your name on the top right of screen or searching via the magnifying glass icon.
Also, is there a way to message a member? I have a notification that ethanes replied to me on the 'Tempo lags in Sonar tracks' but don't see him there, or any contact link on his page.

Simply go to your profile.
is there a way to message a member?
One way is to click on the envelope icon in the toolbar above the first post, then click on "view all conversations" then click on "New Message".

Thank you. I see them in my profile now, but they never were there before -- just my profile options. Checked over and over. .
Does 'New Message' start a private message or open thread? I see no need for the latter.
