Hi,
Been using a MIDIPad in my guitar for over a year now with the KAOSS Pad and a Whammy, but was wondering if there was a way I could map different sounds onto it from either a hardware or software synth, for example split the pad into 4 quadrants where each quadrant results in a different tone/note.

If you MIDI pad send MIDI you should be able to send to any instrument. If you need to convert MIDI to different messages, channels etc. You might need a separate piece of software or hardware to do the conversion for you. I use Bome MIDI Translator Pro for software type conversion projects. I can further load the software project on my BomeBox if I need to do the conversion without a separate computer.
