I want to use a keyboard with a MIDI out in garageband and already have the two ports on my scarlett solo used up, but I would also like to use the keyboard as a MIDI controller directly inputed (or anyway possible) to garage band and be able to do MIDI stuff with it and create a track that way.

If your keyboard does not have USB, and if you do not have any other USB/MIDI device, you have to add a USB/MIDI adapter.
