I have it installed in Windows 98 running in VMWare Workstation 16, which is free to download. Takes a while to set up because you have to do an actual OS install, but once it's running its pretty darn good. I also installed Yamaha SXG-100 like I had on my old Win98 computer so I can hear midi how I remember it.
If you enable clipboard sharing in Workstation, you can copy/paste and drag/drop files easily between the emulated OS and current OS.
One of the commenters said they are able to run MidiSoft Studio in Windows 10 after installing it in the older OS and copying the folder to the new OS.
This requires a professional tool. But I don't have it.
Which 'professional tool' are you referring to? Tools mentioned can be easily downloaded, any specific queries then do ask.
