Hi Jeff,
Would you be open to a phone app solution?
You could connect the iPad/iPhone to the pedal via lightning to usb.
If you have an iOS device, I could knock this out for you relatively quickly.

You may find some relevant tech at the LIVID website. They make the Wing which is a wifi controller that mounts on the guitar face with a clamp.
