Hi,

I'm hoping that this is the best place for me to ask for some help setting up a midi controller.

Before I say what I need help with, I need to share that I am an autistic adult, and that I struggle terribly with certain things, like numbers and pathways, manuals, and unfortunately, MIDI. I typically ask for help in specific music instrument groups I belong to on Facebook, but 'outing' myself in advance as autistic in those groups lately has left me insulted, frustrated and disheartened.

I don't and can't learn by 'trying harder' or reading the manuals again (which is the most frequent suggestion I receive). I have learned that I learn best for me if what I need to learn is presented in a step-by-step numbered list from first move to last move.

I have a new Jet Unity 6 midi controller that I need help with setting it up. I can afford to pay someone here to help me. I have reached out to the maker, and they're trying to help me, but they have other customers and priorities.

Once I get the Unity 6 set up, I have a bit of follow-up work to do with setting midi channels on a synth or two, and getting some commands set up for a Beat Buddy drum pedal.

I struck out finding help on Fiverr, my Facebook instrument groups, and on Youtube.

Maybe someone here could help me remotely and I'll compensate you for your time and expertise?

I'm a real person from deep in the heart of Texas, and I'm not a troll, stupid, a bot or anything other than totally confused and frustrated setting up some midi gear.
