I've just tested a trial version of MIDIoverLAN while using my rather large orchestral template in VEP. Wow, solid and reliable! Then I went to purchase it, discontinued?! Does anyone know of a solid alternative? I can't use the VEP MIDI because I am manipulating the MIDI through multiple programs before sending it out. IPmidi & rtpMIDI had issues. Thank you in advance! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am not sure what midioverlan is but it sound like Tobias Erichsens rtpMidi could be used.

I'd be curious to know what issues you had with ipMIDI and RTPMIDI? And what kind of set-up you are running ๐Ÿ™‚

Me too. Because rtpMIDI and ipMIDI are only protocols. There may be products based on those protocols having issues, but blaming the protocols is probably wrong. It is like blaming the USB specification because some cheap USB MIDI interfaces are very low quality products.
