I have a sound effect that I am trying to replicate as close as I can using MIDI.  Can anyone identify this sound or a MIDI sound that has similar properties? wav file attached (hopefully).

Nearest I can figure is some sort of anime-style sword slash or attack.  My ears are getting tired from all the stuff I've checked so far. 😆 

I have a string slide that might do in a pinch, but it's not ideal as the pitch slides downward instead of up, and it's much louder than the instruments it's going along with.
