RJM MUSIC TECHNOLOGY

RJM Music Technology, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Ron Menelli. Ron started playing guitar in 7th grade and only months later built his first effect pedal. After getting degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science and then spending several years in the corporate jungle, he decided to go off on his own and start RJM Music.

After playing guitar for many years (and becoming a guitar gear freak in the process), it became clear that there were certain needs in the market that were not being met by existing products. This became the focus of RJM Music and the basis for the product line.

The first product, the Amp Gizmo, was released in 2005. Since then, a total of 12 products (and counting) have been released and numerous custom projects have been produced.
RJM has done work for several other companies such as Friedman Amps, Diamond Amplification, Egnater Amplification and Fuchs Audio Technology, and has provided products to some of the biggest names in the music world.
In 2009, Ron’s wife Sheri joined RJM Music full time to handle most of the business and marketing side of the company, allowing Ron to hide in the lab more often.

RJM Music is best known for their cutting-edge MIDI foot controllers like the Mastermind GT and the Mastermind LT. They are also well known in the pedal board controller market with the Mastermind PBC.

RJM continues to develop new products with a focus on ease of use and versatility, and aims to build the best products possible for musicians.

NEKTAR TECHNOLOGY, INC

With software continuously evolving, a plethora of instruments and effects have become available. Able to run even on modest computers, music creation has become more accessible to the many and not just the privileged few. The evolution of computer music hardware unfortunately has not matched the progress of software so our mission was born: To create transparent and intuitive tactile products that allows musicians to control and operate music software, as if its hardware.

The Panorama P4 was launched in 2012 with support for Propellerheads Reason software. The deep integration allows Reason users to completely detach themselves from their computer when they are creating. The Panorama P1 and P6 followed in 2013 with additional support for Steinberg Cubase and the release of the Impact LX49, a budget controller that offers Nektar integration for 10 DAWs. Created by a team of experienced engineers who have worked in the industry forever and with more combined experience in the controller field than any other company , Nektar is well positioned to fulfill the mission. Though our Panorama and Impact products are already a quantum leap

LUMINARY ROLI LIMITED

ROLI is creating a connected system of expressive, controllable musical instruments, synthesizers and software platforms. IK Multimedia

Way back in 1996 — around the time electricity was discovered and cell phones were the size of your average 4-slot toaster — two Italian engineers got together to solve a problem in a recording studio. Could you get the sound of classic analog gear from a computer? One of them said (in Italian, of course) “Could we emulate electronic circuits using DSP algorithms and feed an audio signal through the computer and get the same sound?” The answer was yes, the piece of gear they emulated was a vintage Abbey Road console, and a company was born.

Although that’s a pretty simplified version of how IK came to be, it reflects the driving philosophy behind all of our products: give musicians the tools they want/need to be creative and productive.

Recreate classic legendary products in the digital world and make them available to all musicians. But make them simple. Make them both aspirational and affordable. And make them for Musicians First.

ICONNECTIVITY

You can access your sound directly through the Digitaize Receive audio plugin (VST3 & AU) in any DAW. Envelope/amplitude data from the bow is used for detecting notes velocities as well as a constant midi aftertouch parameters.

The Virus’ USB connection provides such unique features as total recall, sample accurate timing, and more. Access today is a modern company with about 20 full-time employees who were carefully chosen to bring their requisite special skills into the mix. Each of us has a music background, ranging from classical piano to production to DJing. Today, our mission is to build stellar sounding musical instruments packed with innovative and industry-leading features to deliver products by musicians for musicians. The Virus is sold worldwide through an extensive dealer network.
