Looks like there's no Marker message in SMF2, similar to the SMF meta 06. Is this on purpose?
You'd expect it to be a text message, but I don't see it in M2-104-UM_v1-1_UMP_and_MIDI_2-0_Protocol_Specification.pdf paragraph 7.5.9.1.

A Marker feature in SMF2 probably should have more features than in SMF1. We plan to consider Markers as we define the Container format SMF2 (multitrack). We can define a Marker message when we know what features we want/need.
