Hello,

I am attempting to build a project that uses data (from almost any source) to trigger an arpeggio.

I believe I am looking for a GUI that allows me to input the data with each field controlling the MIDI, be it velocity, note on/off etc.

My objective is to eventually feed live data from various sources and from that create an arpeggio that I will then live mix with.

Blimey! Reading back on what I have written here I really hope you don't think I'm mad?

I don't know if there's any connection, but this recent link:

https://www.midi.org/forum/14868-corrupt-midi-file

here relates to someone getting info from a plant (growing ?) to generate a midi file.

You might try following up this. Bio-sonification? I don't know what software is involved.

Geoff
