Interactive Midi commands, SONG SELECT, INDEX, START, PLAY STOP.
I would like to use midi commands to open an iOS app music page and when that page opens I would like it to play a midi file associated.

I use forScore and SongBook. Both have the capability to open a music page via a midi command. They both have capability to initiate midi commands when opened. For example send midi commands to affect a patch on an iOS synth.

I am starting to understand the Song Select feature of opening a page but I am trying to understand the interaction with song players. MIDI, MP3, WAV files to initiate accompanying background music.

Any comments on iOS players (preferred) or other devices, apps and how they could be applied. Thank you.
