Hello All.

I have a DMX lighting controller with a MIDI input port. According to the documentation, in order to select the first lighting scene, I need to send MIDI note 0. For the second scene, I send MIDI note 1.

I have a One Control Basilisk foot operated programmable MIDI controller. Each preset sends 5 PC# and 5 CC#. Expanded PC# value 0~199.

My question....how do I program the PC#'s and/pr CC#'s to send "tone 0" and "tone 1"??

Many thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

-Michael

If the Basilisk can only send Program Change and Control Change messages then it will not work directly.

You will need to connect the Basilisk to something (like a computer) that can map input MIDI messages to different MIDI messages on output to the lighting controller.

An Internet search will provide you with a number of solutions for this scenario.

Cheers
Eddie
