Hi, I'm using a Windows 10 computer. After updating my computer yesterday,
I received an undetectable message when trying to connect my USB device to the port.
I tried several ways but it didn't work. If there is anyone who knows about this,
let me know.

Thank you

Hello,

I'm guessing that your computer DOES detect that something is there, but cannot tell WHAT is there. This might be because the 'device' you refer to is not supported by W10.

It would be a great help if you could give the full wording of the message you get, also is this message supplied by Windows, or by some other software that you are running (a DAW, for example). Also, please say what the 'device' you are trying to connect is, so that I, or anyone else, can look it up on the web. If there is some other software involved, please say what that is, in case that's to blame.

Also, please confirm that the device did work correctly before the 'update' you've just done, and was the update changing anything specific?

As another trouble-shooting step, plug the USB cable into every USB port on your computer. Modern computers have ports that support different versions of USB. Although the version shouldn't matter, sometimes it actually does.

Also, try connecting the device to a family member's or friend's computer and see if it works there.
