I'm setting up midi for the first time. I've been playing audio out into protools for years but I want to use the Roland TD-17 to control superior drummer in protools through the motu microlite. I have my kurzweil keyboard working through the microlite and controlling keyboards inside protools, its working fine but the channel on the microlite that I plug the td-17 into just blinks and protools doesn't see the td-17. I was told it might be a routing issue inside the td-17. I know there is a midi/usb out option on the td-17 but I had trouble with it so I just bought the microlite. I have reset the settings on the td-17 to factory. Hopefully its just a Midi output setting that I don't know about. Can anyone help me? Drummers?
