Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone knows of any hardware (preferably small) that will take incoming polyphonic midi note data from a midi controller and will separate it into three channels. The first channel would be a straight passthrough of the polyphonic note data, the other two channels output would be monophonic, one being the lowest note played, and the other being the highest note played. Basically one would behave like a monosynth that is low note priority, and the other being high note priority. I would like to be able to control 3 voices (two mono, and one poly) from a single keyboard without having to rely on keyboard splits. I have an Elka OMB-5 that has a separate bass voice that is low note priority and it makes for some really interesting playing possibilities but I would like to be able to do this with different instruments (such as a yamaha TX802, which is multi-timberal) and with the addition of a higher voice. I could probably figure out how to implement this using something like max/msp, but I don't want to have to deal with a laptop in my live setup.
