OK I am a little new to all this so a little help and advice would be great .
So here it is I have an Akia EWI5000 and would like to control pitch bend with a foot controller to Kontack 5 but I am struggling .
I'm quite happy to build / programme or what ever it takes .

Any information you need just ask .

YOu could make your own using these parts: http://www.doepfer.de/we.htm

Or, you could get a foot pedal capable of sending +5V, then get a CV to MIDI converter...then get a MIDI Solutions Event Processor Plus to change the MIDI input signal to whatever MIDI controller you need.

It's amazing that to this day no one has made a MIDI PB pedal!

๐Ÿ˜€ Thanks for that Giampiero

Made an interesting read and one thing in the technical data includes a surprising thing....it has a very small Midi Buffer and cant handle much data with out fulling over and crying .
This is a great product but I doubt it could handle all the data coming out of the EWI5000 but its given me some ideas , cant believe the buffers so small its almost as if these manufactures don't want us building a deaf star pedal .
Im looking at some other boards including some build your own that might be worth the time building and programing so I can have a much larger buffer and maybe the kitchen sink so I will report back soon.

Not sure if Iยดm not understanding the question properly, but...what about this?:
if you connect any expression pedal (I use a Moog EP-3) to a controller (I have it connected to my Korg Triton. It goes to the -assignable pedal- input. Triton then transmits the CC of the expression pedal (you can use any midi monitor to check the number of the CC it is sending). Then, in your software (kontakt) you map the pitch bend to the same CC the pedal is transmitting. You can use your EWI5000 to play the notes and the pedal to control the pitch bend.
Does it make sense?
