Hi,

I made my own trigger, put it in a drumpad and I run into an Alesis DM drum module so that I can creater more creating more realistic/dynamic high-hats.

I would like to help a friend to have the same capability -but he is very limited, financially.
I'd like to buy him a DM too, but can't afford one.

Is there some type of single-input device that would accept a signal from a drum trigger, and send a (velocity-sensitive) MIDI signal to a DAW's MIDI input?

Do you know of ANY devices like this? There -HAS- to be something...but I haven't found it.
Suggestions?

Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to read my post..and special thanks to anyone who has insight or suggestions to make.

Peace...and happy holidays!

The cheapest I know of is the Alesis Trigger io. They pop up on ebay occasionally for around $100. 10 triggers so a bit more than what you need. http://alesis.com/products/legacy/triggerio
