For the life of me, I can't get MIDI settings correct on several programs that run on a PC.

I've tried MuseScore, Bandlab (Cakewalk) and several other programs.  Using a USB-to-MIDI cable removed link

I HAVE gotten a program called Jammer to work just fine, so there should be no hardware issues

Jammer is a program that generates backing tracks for songs you enter.

It's VERY old (like back into the mid-80's)  and is no  longer available. 

I'm trying to connect from a PC to a Yamaha Clavinova (CVP605)

Any how this is driving me NUTS!!!
