I can't quite figure out how to create music on MIDI, could you please tell me how. Thanks.

To make music using MIDI, you will first need to choose a MIDI Sequencer or a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
Once you have chosen what software you want to use, you can read that software's User Guide to learn how to make music.

To help get any answers, it might be a good idea to indicate what hardware/software you have available, and what you've tried to do so far, and what problems you hit.
Can you play existing midi files already?
