Hi all, I'm using a roland mc50 with a roland SC8850. I know that CC94 is for adding delay but how do you add delay to the drum CH10?
I would like to create a delay of around 950ms on the final beat of an up tempo song where the snare, cymbal, bass drum repeats for around 4 seconds.
I have been experimenting on the other channels with Sysex messages to select the Delay type, modifying the time and Delay level centre. It would be great to
achieve this on the drums. I suppose I could add notes tapering the volume to create a delay. Any help would be appreciated.. Joe.

See page 72 of the SC-8850 Owner's Manual for a description of using chorus and delay on drums.
See page 154 for a description of using NRPN to change Drum Instrument Delay Send Level.
See page 240 for using SysEx to set the drum Delay Send Level.

You're welcome.

I have an SC-8850 too, so let me know if you have any more questions.
