Just beginning to put together a MIDI controlled Stage Theater show, and will be syncing lights DMX with sound and as an aside, a robot arm for video camera shoots. Will be hooked up with a typical computer running an audio/midi sequencer with audio tracks, live musicians, singers, actors, dancers etc. Will be using a midi controlled DMX lighting board for lights, a ServoCenterMidi V1.2a controller board for controlling rc servos to start, just to familiarize myself with robotics for the video camera them move up to controlling larger motors for a 6 or more axis 6' robot arm. Also have an arduino mega that I might use at some point, but I only know the basics of that. Anyway, I'm not an expert by any means but have a lifetime of building electronic stuff and been using everything from the Atari st using Dr T's Omega 2, to the pc for sequencing and recording with Cubase on pc. Still using both! I will share my experience as I go if anyone is interested.
