Elevator Pitch

Vibe Together
Product Description
Vibe Together is a browser-based multiplayer music sandbox where up to eight people build playable songs as spatial 3D networks. It is not a browser-based DAW; it is a new kind of playable composition system.
The current beta is the result of more than three years of development and a major evolution completed in 2026. It combines non-linear sequencing, procedural composition, 3D visuals, a custom synth engine, and multiplayer for a hybrid game + music platform for the next generation of creators. Players can create, share, listen, build a band, and earn progression through the songs they make together.
How It’s Innovative
Vibe Together innovates across a set of connected areas.
1. Visual music-making and spatial composition:
Instead of composing on a timeline, the player composes on a grid by connecting objects together to make a musical network. The topology produced by this 3D representation is simultaneously the score, sequencer, interface and visualizer. Distance represents time, wires route musical events, and nodes transform pitch, harmony, rhythm, articulation and sound. Travelling signals make musical cause and effect visible and even allow for concepts like probabilistic branching within a composition. MIDI performances and files can become editable spatial structures instead of remaining fixed clips on a timeline. In addition, by being in a 3D game-like environment, concepts like velocity, duration and pitch are fully visualized. Pitch is represented through color and brightness, velocity through visual intensity and attack, and duration through visual lifetime and signal-tail length. These relationships make musical structure easier to inspect, understand and learn.
2. Procedural composition System:
Behind this structure is a music-theory-driven procedural system. Players can explore how a composition changes by modifying chord progressions, key, scale, mode, tempo and other musical parameters. The engine understands song sections and harmonic context, allowing melodies and chords to respond to the larger arrangement. The resulting music is generated from explicit rules and remains visible and editable. It is generative music without a black box.
3. A browser-native platform with interoperability:
Vibe Together combines Web Audio, Web MIDI, a custom synth engine, sampling, MIDI input, external MIDI output, and MIDI/audio export in one browser experience. A piece can begin on a keyboard, evolve through the spatial system, play hardware or software instruments, and return to a DAW on export. Mobile users can join in the fun too!
4. Multiplayer creative software built like a game:
Our belief is that the future of creative software is shareable and communal, like the origins of music in human life. Up to eight people can build and perform in the same live composition. Creator identities, bands, daily challenges, weekly competitions, publishing, listening, progression and remixing give people reasons to create together and return. These mechanics are not decoration around the music tool; they change music-making from a solitary workflow into a shared activity.
The larger innovation is the combination: a MIDI-connected procedural composition system that people can see, inhabit, perform and rebuild together.
Most Inspiring Use Cases
The most inspiring use is what our community has already made with it.
Playtesters have built intricate original compositions and remarkable recreations of music they love. Familiar melodies, rhythms and arrangements become visible networks of objects. Seeing a known piece reconstructed as a living system reveals how its musical parts relate in a way that listening to the finished audio cannot.
Equally inspiring is watching people create live together. One player brings in a MIDI performance, another builds harmony or rhythm, another reroutes the signals, and someone else shapes the instruments and mix. The result often becomes something none of them would have made alone.
Finished pieces enter the Community Mixtape, where other people can listen, respond and remix them into new work. Weekly Battle of the Bands challenges go further: players form persistent bands, respond to a shared creative brief, build an entry together, and hear it compete against what other groups imagined from the same starting point.
That is the experience Vibe Together is built to create: music-making as a shared culture of building, performing, listening, competing and remixing.
Expansion Plans
We want Vibe Together to become an entry point for people who do not yet think of themselves as musicians and a bridge back to professional tools for those who do.
Near-term work focuses on launch, onboarding, browser reliability, new sounds, and deeper community creation through bands, challenges, publishing and remixing.
We then plan to bring local sessions to the game distribution platform “Steam” and expand MIDI interoperability through richer expressive input, and deliberate exploration of MIDI 2.0/UMP where higher-resolution and per-note expression improve the spatial system. We are also exploring concepts like live gestural control using a webcam on the grid.
Longer term, the same visible signal language could support classrooms, live performances and installations, allowing a composition to move between play, learning, performance, hardware and DAWs without losing its structure.
Commercialization
Vibe Together is in final playtesting, with its public browser launch planned within the next two to three months.
Our go-to-market brings together audiences that rarely share a product: people who play creative games, people who make music, and people who want to make music. A free account lets anyone begin creating. The current Premium model is US$20 once, with a US$5-per-month VIP path whose payments accrue toward permanent ownership. Premium expands composition limits and unlocks creator workflows including MIDI import, MIDI Out and export.
Growth will center on playable browser demonstrations, musician and creator content, published and remixed Vibes, community challenges, and a later Steam release for local sessions.
