Despite advancements in technology, for nearly half a century drummers playing electronic drum sets have had to settle for rubber cymbal pads. Rubber pads don’t look like real cymbals, they don’t feel like real cymbals, and they don’t respond with all the nuance you would expect from a real cymbal. Our goal at Zildjian was to create an electronic cymbal that is virtually indistinguishable from a real acoustic cymbal, and that is exactly what we’ve done. Our revolutionary E-FAMILY cymbals look like real cymbals, play and respond like real cymbals, and feel just like real acoustic cymbals because they ARE real cymbals! Coupled with our incredible looking and sounding ALCHEM-E drums and beautifully designed, feature-filled E-VAULT drum module, the Zildjian ALCHEM-E system is the most immersive, realistic, authentic electronic drumming experience in the world.

It has both traditional 5 pin MIDI in/out and USB MIDI to be connected to control out or in with other sound modules, DAW or software applications.

Three complete drums kits are available right now in the US and Canada, and later this year will be available throughout the world. We are partnering with top artists, influencers, and media outlets to get the word out about ALCHEM-E as this is our biggest launch in our company’s storied 400-year history!

We plan to continue to update and expand the capabilities of the drum module and add to the already impressive library of sounds. We also plan to develop new add-on cymbals and drums so that drummers can build out and customize their dream drum kit setup. We have a robust innovation roadmap including expansion beyond traditional electronic percussion.
