Googler supports MIDI in both the Android and Chrome platforms. A MIDI API was added to Android in the Marshmallow release. Android now supports USB-MIDI, BLE-MIDI and also passing MIDI between apps serving as virtual devices.

Google is also working to make the web more musical. Google helped develop the WebMIDI and WebAudio standards which can turn Chrome, and other web browsers, into musical instruments.
