MIDI 2.0 and the Waldorf’s Iridium and Quantum

Rolf Wöhrmann is presenting the MIDI 2.0 implementation in Waldorf’s Iridium and Quantum synthesizer product line. High-resolution performance data and per-note polyphonic pitch-bend & parameter control transforms these instruments on another level of expressiveness. By this Waldorf Music is giving musicians a forward-looking instrument paired with a polyphonic aftertouch keybed. Rolf will discuss the technical background as well as musical implications.
