The Bob Moog Foundation is excited to announce two masterclasses by lauded music technologist, author, and musician Craig Anderton.
“How to Mix for Maximum Emotional Impact” will be presented at UNC-Asheville in the Laurel Forum room on Wednesday, March 19th, from 7 pm to 9 pm. The event is open to students and the public and is free of charge.
“Synthesizer and Sampler Secrets: A Moogseum Masterclass” will be presented at the Moogseum in downtown Asheville on Saturday, March 22nd, from 10 am to noon. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased HERE.
Craig Anderton has worked on chart-topping productions, toured the US and Europe, played at Carnegie Hall, and given hugely popular seminars (in 38 states, 10 countries, and 3 languages). He’s written over 50 books on technology and the arts, and over 1,000 articles for Sound on Sound, Guitar Player, inSync, The MIDI Association, Mix, CraigAnderton.org, and several international publications. He co-founded Electronic Musician magazine, started the first rich media web destination for musicians in 1995 on AOL, and has also consulted for leading companies like Steinberg, Ableton, Roland, Waves, Acoustica, IK Multimedia, Microsoft, Gibson, Peavey, Alesis, ASI Audio, Sensaphonics, Akai Professional, PreSonus, Native Instruments, Cakewalk, Avid, and more. The masterclasses distill his decades of experience into an enjoyable, engaging, and often surprising educational experience.
