This instrument consists of two parts and can generate sound on its own as well as act as a controller. It needs to be used in conjunction with the Max/MSP program I have developed. Its design originates from the exploration of spatial sound, with pressure sensors controlled by fingers enabling the manipulation of sound across different spatial dimensions. Its appearance resembles that of a small desktop piano and its playing style is akin to that of a Chinese guqin. Performance involves playing the noise box section equipped with devices like springs to generate sound, recording the sound into a buffer in Max, and then processing the effects using other sensors. This instrument is particularly suitable for performance in multi-channel spatial environments.
