What is the cc message to arm the record button in a DAW i understand pieces of hardware might not be routed properly out of the box so i want to assign a button on my Trigger Finger Pro to be the "arm record button" I cant seam to find the cc message anywhere. Also when i set up the TFP with Mackie presets the track's arm and record are not working.

There is not one CC message for recording functionality. You may be interested in MMC (system exclusive messages) if your equipment and DAW supports that. MMC is documented in MIDI Machine Control, RP013 document, included in the '96 specifications PDF.
